WORK EXPERIENCE

Princess Bento is pleased to offer regular work experience placements for students at our South Melbourne studio. If you are interested in work experience for the 2025 school year, applications are open November 2024 and close March 31st 2025 by emailing- work.experience@princessbento.com 

Places are limited and applications received after this date will not be accepted..

  • The dates you’re requesting (if you have flexibility let us know that too)

  • Why you’re interested in work experience with Princess Bento

  • What your areas of interest are? (Note our current program is set up for students interested in design and animation. We have some creative writing and production tasks but not for a whole week)

 

Positions are limited and we will let you know if you’ve been successful before the end of April. 

 

It should be noted that when in the studio, students will be required to read and sign an NDA as everything they observe while here is highly confidential.

 

You must provide a copy of your schools insurance to be able to enter the program.

INTERNSHIP THROUGH UNIVERSITY

We are able to accommodate industry placements from local Victorian based university students undergoing an internship unit as part of their course. These are the only internships we offer at the studio for university level students and places are highly competitive.

  • Your folio and/or showreel

  • Why you’re interested in work experience with Princess Bento

  • What your areas of interest are eg. production, animation, design

 

There are two streams of internships available -

  1. Working into a specific project in a junior capacity. This is dependant on project capacity and if the skills of the intern aligns to the project needs, or

  2. A general internship covering different departments and activities based on our projects/IP e.g. animation tests, compositing tests, designing to briefs etc.

PAID PLACEMENTS / ATTACHMENTS / TRAINEESHIPS

Every year Princess Bento offers paid placements in various departments of a specific production. These are full time paid positions which involve training, mentorship and contributing work to a Princess Bento production. These are advertised positions with a simple folio, CV and cover letter application. See the studios LinkedIn or other socials for updates when the applications are open. While all experience levels are welcome to apply it should be noted these are entry level positions.
